Letter from Studio D'Art: CASTING CALL this Tuesday, April 20th

Dear Kelley,

Studio d'Art is holding a casting call this Tuesday, April 20th.

Call time: 4-8pm.

If this doesn't apply to you then please tell anyone you know who models and/or dances.

We are casting models/dancers for a music video and will be shooting towards the end of April. TBA.

We are also casting for runway models for our International designers. The fashion shows will be at Studio d'Art's launch party May 5th.

Attention Dancers: You will be learning a little hip hop choreography. The main model/dancer will be learning a little hip hop choreography and tango.

Attention Female Models: You must be at least 5'7. Height, weight proportional. We need International, exotic looking models. For swim wear, you must have a fit body.

Attention Male Models: You must be at least 5'11 and have a fit body. This is for runway.

What NOT to wear: American Apparel Cotton Spandex Micro-Mesh Gloria-V Body Suit

Ladies, ladies, LADIES enough is ENOUGH. I know this little black body suit is sexy and cute BUT if I see ONE more girl sporting this in the club, I may just scream!! I always see atleast 1-2 girls wearing this EVERYTIME and I do mean EVERYTIME I go out. So I suggest that if you have this body suit by American Apparel just leave it at home unless you like the feeling of embarrassment when you walk into a spot and another girl has on the same exact outfit! I don't mean to offend anyone but I just had to get this off of my chest because I'm sick of seeing it! If you thought you were being unique by wearing this I'm going to need for you to LET THAT DREAM GO! :-)

I didn't get a chance to see all the fashion shows from last weeks Fashion Miami, but I will tell you guys to check out designers like Julia Alarcon with her line, Lialia. Her Fall collection was simple yet structured, sophisticated and chic! And it wasn't too outlandish...you can make an easy transition from runway to real world. Unfortunately you can't see her Fall 2010 collection just yet (unless you were at the show) but you can check out her Spring 2010 collection and her previous ones on her website http://www.lialiacollection.com/. Also designer, Whitney Port (known from MTV's "The Hills" and "The City") didn't disappoint at all. Her line, Whitney Eve, was exciting and fun!
